Brazil residency through investment in a company
undefined
We coordinate the whole process: company formation, bank account, capital transfer, business plan, MigranteWeb and the CRNM card.
Two investment options
- R$500,000 — standard investment of own funds from abroad in a new or existing Brazilian company under RN 13.
- From R$150,000 up to less than R$500,000 — only for a substantiated innovation, scientific or technological project under article 3 of RN 13. Stronger justification is required; approval is not automatic.
- The investment is not the price of our service and not the price of a passport. Opening a company does not by itself grant residence.
Process
- Case review, company (CPF, articles, CNPJ), bank account (KYC; account subject to bank approval).
- Transfer and registration of the investment as direct foreign investment, capital contribution and applicable SCE-IED obligations.
- Three-year business plan with job or income creation; MigranteWeb filing and answers to MJSP.
- Visa / entry from abroad or in-country processing under article 6 of RN 13; CRNM registration with Polícia Federal; plan compliance evidence.
Limits
VITEM is a temporary visa, not a permanent one. RN 13 provides for residence for an indefinite term, conditional on plan execution. Investment does not grant citizenship automatically: ordinary naturalisation usually requires at least four years of proven residence in Brazil, Portuguese and the other statutory conditions.
Brazilian residence does not give an automatic right to live anywhere in Mercosur. Banks run their own KYC/AML and sanctions checks; residence does not remove tax obligations or applicable CRS. Legal acts are performed by a lawyer with active OAB registration.
